My Favoruite

I have stayed in three different Hotel Toronto Airport Hotels this year, and given my experience, I would stay at one in every town I visit if I had that choice. Then again, I enjoy the fact that this hotel is not a massive corporation that is focused on expanding beyond quality. My partner and I stayed at this latest hotel to celebrate our one year wedding anniversary and the staff (including the ones who took my reservation initially - we booked before the reservation system was available) were exceptionally friendly and nice. After a warm chat at the desk while checking in, we went up to our floor and opened our room and turned on the light with our wireless door card. We had an extraordinary view of the city and the super highway, and to our delight, found a sweet anniversary present in the form of a chocolate / goat cheese platter with a note by the concierge team - the treats were appreciated but what really impressed me was the handwritten long note (see pic).

The rooms are signature stagewest hotel, with a location specific touch (wall hanging is inspired by sports), the wonderful rain shower in the middle of the room and a switch system that allows you to set the lights to "ambient" or indicate whether you want to not be disturbed or the room to be cleaned. I like that each room always has two robes and an umbrella for guests to use.

This new stagewest hotel is located at 20 mins drive from airport, a popular new sports bar & lounge and a huge supermarket - we were able to walk around without having to bring our jackets (a big plus in December!). After our dinner we decided to sit in the second floor lounge with a cappucino (friendly staff helped us with it) and people watch - it overlooks Bremner which usually teams with traffic and pedestrians after a game at the ACC.

Breakfast was free at Toronto Airport Hotels and good as always but we never had a chance to use the free Internet. Thank you for taking such good care of us, again!
