What Every Hotel Should Be

Toronto Airport Hotels
The reception staff were very cheerful, polite and helpful.
They had noted that we were on our honeymoon, and warmly congratulated us, and advised that they had upgraded our room. The new room wasnt too different from what we booked (which was a King Bed Suite - with separate bedroom and living areas), but the upgrade was just a little bit bigger, and little better fished off she said. In doing so, they made us feel like they cared, and wanted to do something something small to make our stay just a little more special. They also gave us complimentary breakfast vouchers for each day, which was not included in the room rate that we selected.

When we got to the room they had placed chocolates, and bottle of champagne to greet us.
The chocolates appeared on our bedisde table each day while we were there.
The room was absolutely great, and in my opinion was what very hotel room should be. A good sized bedroom, with a king bed and city views, joined to the nicely sized, clean and modern bathroom, via a large carpeted powder room with full length mirror, closet, safe and ironing board and iron.
The seperate living area was a good size, with dining table and lounge, fridge, microwave, sink, cutlery and crockery. Virtually a small apartment. We could easily and comfortably live there for some time.
The living area also had large windows with a nice downtown view.
A guest laundry was located at the basement level, with two washing machines ($1 to wash) and two dryers ($2 to dry).

The bar and restaurant was well priced, the food was good and the saff were very cheerful and friendly.
The hotel is also joined to Toronto's PATH system of underground walkways, with two entrances, so that you can leave hotel to go peruse the city and never have to go outside in the weather!
We rate this hotel very highly, and will now use it as the benchmark for any other hotels we stay at.
We liked it so much that we are joinging their membership program :)

Impeccable 5-Star Services

I had the pleasure of attending an informational seminar hosted by the IAAP (International Association of Administrative Professionals) at the Toronto Airport Hotels located in downtown Toronto, Ontario.
The venue was the ideal location for guests that came from near and far and offered the perfect sized meeting space to accommodate our group of 45+ participants in comfort and in style. The audio/visual and set up of our room was perfectly suited for our presenters with such a professional and cozy atmosphere where we could accommodate a large group and still have an intimate connection with the speaker.
Throughout the course of this evening my colleagues and I were fortunate enough to be able to tour the incredibly lovely and spacious suites that the hotel had to offer. We were able to enjoy a very sumptuous variety of h’orderves, specialty deli & cheese selections and fantastic desserts! We dined on a very sophisticated presentation of appetite fulfilling dishes that always tempted us to go back for more. All the while, we were treated to the spectacular talents of the entertainers presented to us that evening. Who knew Harpists could be the new “sophisticated and hot thing”?
Firstly, I discovered that this hotel is an ideal place to extend modern and stylish accommodations, spectacular cuisine and a variety of meeting space to our colleagues and business partners. But, foremost, I have finally encountered what I have heard of but never experienced until now “Impeccable 5-Star Service”. Every single member of the staff were engaged and sincerely interested in doing everything in their power to make our experience at the hotel the best it could be and they exceeded our expectations! I highly recommend this venue for both traveling professionals and local meeting planners to accommodate their groups.

Stayed here for a conference while several other large events were also happening. Despite the hotel being full we never felt rushed. Check in was at 4 as obviously room change over was difficult but very friendly staff offered to hold our luggage and give us a call when our room was ready.
Room was nice – cityscape room and the extras were as advertised. Internet was a little slow at times but expected due to heavy traffic. Had dinner at Porticos both nights and was well worth it. Wait staff/bartender was excellent and would like to give a big shout out to Elaine ( hope this is right) one of the friendliest and most professional staff I have ever met. We are very grateful for the strawberries that appeared later the evening and can give unconditional recommendations for the desserts. Had a great time listening to the impromptu concert that happened in the lounge as we settled for the evening before supper and Junos.
Only slight things kept this from having the effortless feel of a five star – no creamers etc found for coffee in the fridge for the AM eyeopener and failure to replenish the coffee the next morning. Both dealt with efficiently by staff but would have been nice to have them just happen. Breakfast continental was nice but two of the three mornings it was hard to find a clean spot as staff seemed slow to clean up places – maybe a factor that most people weren’t paying for breakfast and therefore not tipping?
We walked to the Junos at the Air Canada Centre and the PATH made this a warm comfortable walk for the extensive distance ( 25 minutes) – window shopping made the time pass quickly. Eaton’s Centre a block a way, easily accessed by the PATH also or a block on street level.
Checkout easy and allowed us the courtesy of a slight extended stay as we were taking an early evening Porter flight. Kiosk in lobby that allows check in to numerous airlines much nicer that the single airline kiosk I have encountered elsewhere.
As I stated had a great time and would go back. Had an accompanying spouse and the extra space afforded by the suite was great for loitering over a book or coffee while he waited breaks from the conference if he didn’t go off visiting sites.

Nice Hotel In A Great Location

A truly unique entertainment complex, combining a magnificent all-suite Hotel featuring an indoor salt water swimming pool & giant waterslide with a first class Theatre Restaurant. Just 10 minutes from Toronto’s Pearson International Airport and 20 min. this hotel offers clean & bright accommodations. My family of 3, (a Mom, Dad and 16 year old boy) reserved a 2 bedroom suite.
·  Rooms are small (beds nearly touch walls), but having the 2 rooms was great. One bedroom plus a living space which included a pull out sofa, a wet bar and a dining area. Upon check in we were a little concerned as our room was directly across from the elevators. But, while we were there, we did not hear any corridor noise from the elevator area. We did have one night where someone was power washing the sidewalk in front of the hotel (where we faced) at around midnight. Rooms are bright and clean & beds are comfy.
In room coffee, fridge and microwave included. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful and the restaurant served a really nice dinner. Breakfast was crowded and the buffet items were emptied quickly. Suggest skipping the hotel breakfast plan and going around corner to Tim Hortons each morning.
Hotel lobby offers complimentary coffee. This hotel is walking distance to shopping, attractions and good restaurants.
